QuoteReplyTopic: bobs with "fringe" are in !!!! Posted: October 25 2001 at 3:12am
we red all the messages on here and have come out with the knowledge that the bob is back and with the fringe thing...i didnt know what a fringe was before..i have visted this site over the past 3 weeks and have been looking around and just seeing what was true in my area and the fact is that the bob and fringe does seem to be getting more and more popular as for style 4600 yes there is demand and a lot of people with longer hair have been getting this style.but the bob in general is the happening style ,i personally think style 4600 is what a lot of the other and shorter bobs are based on with there own style added..the only reason i did this was because it was annoying me reading these messages and not knowing what was the real style going with so many conflicting messages ..but as i see it it is up to the person getting ther hair cut to weather it be style 4600 or one of its off spring..hope this has been of some help to those who were also wondering what was what as far as the truth ,of course this is only in my area ,it mightened have hit your area yet or it might not be the right time of the year yet

I have seen nobody, that is, N-O-B-O-D-Y, wearing that style.
Seriously... I see lots of women growing their hair longer, and wearing their hair in any number of ways -- loose, ponytails, braids, buns.
I see that there is one person (with many pseudonames) who likes this style very much. That you like the style a lot is fine, that you hype so ceaselessly is not. Please. Enough already.
You are absolutely correct Dave. The wave of "unregistered" support continues. Plenty of people have their obsessions but this borders on the need for professional help.
Please...get a life, or at least a new style...lol
Does anyone really care what is "in" or not? I don`t really see a lot of celebrities wearing bobs with fringes or bangs so who says they are in? Anyway i don`t care anyway because I`m not a sheep and I don`t do something just because it is in. I like my bangs because I have less hair in my eyes and I think they look good with the shape of my face. I don`t care if they are in. I had no bangs for a long time too.
I don`t think anything is really "in" or "out" right now (except that the mullet is definately out and let`s hope it stays that way). What`s in these days is being yourself and expressing your individuality. More and more hairstyles are becoming acceptable and it doesn`t have to be trendy to work for you. Hair isn`t just about being hip! tee hee :)

It`s kind of like your favorite jeans. The style never goes "in" or "out" of style but just looks good on most anyone that has that style. It`s like a classic. It`s just a matter of wanting it or not.

The "bob" person`s many many bogus posts as a bob troll are being systematically removed. We will leave the "legit" posts and try not to disrupt the topics as much as possible.
We are sorry for the problems with this poster but we are monitoring them very closely. We have been watching this bogus bob poster for some time and gathering their IP address and will take action to ban them from future posts if they continue.
Thanks for all your support & help with this problem.
Best wishes, Karen Shelton
