QuoteReplyTopic: my puffy and wavy hair! Posted: May 27 2002 at 4:29pm
after i get out of the shower i blowdry my hair and my hair gets so puffy and wavy ! i had curly hair when i was little but then it became both wavy and straight.i use a straightener but it still is puffy does anyone have any suggestions on what shampoo and conditioner or any hair products that wont make my hair do this?
Well it depends if you want your hair to be straight or curly.... if you want it straight try a straightning balm on it before you use an iron, or if you want it to go curly try just using a defuser, and a bit of curling cream...
ok well i have the same kind of hair... my hair gets puffy.... i take a big round brush and blow dry my hair on the hottest setting. not b4 i put some FrizzEase in my hair and that really helps.. dont use a straightner it makes ur hair very puffy and can damage already damaged hair more. and plus it dries your hair out even more and that makes it frizzier and puffier

Mine is similiar. I really want it to go straight but everyone tells me it`ll never go straight. Especially since I might bleach it sometime, I don`t want really damaged hair.
This is my signature. It's not a very good signature, but it's a signature nonetheless.
I have really thick hair to. To calm it down i take a shower + wash my hair. After i get out i blow dry it but I put in two things: one i put in Rusk Str8 which is an anti-frizz/anti curl lotion. 2nd i put in Rusk Internal Restruction Wired. I blow dry my hair basically straight until its completely dry. Then I straighten it with a straightener and put more of the Rusk Internal Restruction Wired stuff in while straightening and it works. My hair is completely straight and way less poofy. I hope this works for you.
