I`m a 16 year old girl with very pale skin, a round face, pointy chin, brown eyes, very long dark eyelashes and ears that stick out. My hair is dark brown, straight and reaches the small of my back, but the ends are in horrible shape.
I`m definately going to cut my hair, but I`m not sure what length yet. And I`m either going to just leave it dark brown, or get it dyed a bunch of colors (white, yellow, orange, red, purple and some left my natural brown) in very thin stripes evenly all the way around.
I also can`t decide about bangs. I`d like to have long bangs like Cher had in the sixties, but I`m not sure it would look good because I have a round face.
I`d really like some help deciding. My friends and family aren`t being any help.
I`d also like any tips on how to hide my ears, or at least draw attention away from them. I need a really low maintenance style, because I`m quite lazy. All I want to have to do is wash it and brush it.

Personally, I`m not a huge fan of the clown look, so I wouldn`t recomend putting the multicolored stripes in your hair. It can also be refered to as punk or a skunk. But if that`s what suits you then go for it. However, I would suggest deciding on a hairstyle first, & then see if that dictates a certain color. As far as a hairstyle goes, there are lots of options, it just depends on what length you want. So you don`t know what length you want, but you do know that you definitly want to cut your hair. Do you think you want something, radically different, or just a slight change. I would suggest, if you are really serious about wanting to make a change, I`d suggest going really short -- at least above the shoulders. A cool haircut would be just below chin length all the way around. (If you wanted long bangs, you could actually get them cut to the same length as the rest of your hair. If wanted to wear them down they could cover your face -- picture Cousin Itt with shorter hair. However you could of course pull them back & wear it in a normal bob-like style.)Note: By just below the chin I mean just below the chin, the hair in front could tuck under slightly, & brush right up against your chin. Sorry if I didn`t explain this well. You also could go really short, a short pixie, cut a few inches all the way around, if you really want the multicolored hair this style may work for that. As far as hiding your ears goes, what I`ve noticed is, a lot of times, people who are self concious about a particular body part, often draw more attention to it by trying to hide it. If you have self confidince, & don`t focus on your ears, ( by trying to get others to not focus on them), many other people will probably not pay as much attention to them either.
