suggestion of wax?

I been checking out this board recently ok just today and did some search on the forums but im so confused. There is just to much brands of wax i just dont know which ones are good enough to buy or use.

My hair is probably 2 or 3 inches long from the root and i was wondering whats a good wax to use that is not overly expensive, not much grease residue, hold up the hair well and spiking can be done too.

I normally use strong gel but i dont like the wetness in my hair sometimes from using and it takes pretty long for my hair to dry. And also the flakyness ewwwwwwwwww.... :(

so any good recommendation on what type of wax im looking for?

I`d recomend Toni And Guy x-wax, although if ur in america i aint sure if u can get it there? but i dont know! i recomend it for real though. tis what i always use, also it smells lurrrrrvly

oh yeah i remember i saw dippity do hair defining wax.. i was wondering is that good? Its a really small for like $5-6 can. if i remember correctly.

mustache wax! It won`t make your hair flaky ;P

My sister uses something called X-treme but it`s not mustache wax.. the wax is green. Then there was something else that was more gooey

I actually recommend bee`s wax. Just any bee`s wax will do.

You could probably find some at sally beauty supply or any hair salon or store that carries hair stuff. it will wash out with shampoo. Does that help you?

There aren`t lightening responses on this board, but i figure it`s been a while this board has been up and not many people are super interested in hair. ;)

oh yeah i tried one wax forgot the maker name but had to return it because of the smell. It is a perfurmish smells and i cant stand it.


how about Stiff Wax are they good? They looks so small and not much in that container.
