Hi Dawn,

If you tell us what ways you have been wearing your hair, we can advise you on some different styles you may want to try.

Hi Dawn,

No matter what you do -- or don`t do -- with your long hair, it looks great... even when it`s just in a ponytail or loose.

There are lots of other ways you can wear your hair. Do you know how to do a simple braid? Maybe you can start by putting your hair in pigtails, and braid the pigtails -- a very cute look. When you feel comfortable with braiding, try braiding your ponytail. Then try sectioning your hair in different ways and making multiple braids. You can`t make a mistake, and you just might find a funky new style you like. You can also try buns, just lean over, gather your hair in a ponytail at the top of your head (without the ponytail holder) and twist. Have fun experimenting. :-)

Hope this helps.

Hi Dawn. I agree with Dave`s suggestions, and have another idea that is an easy adaptation to your usual ponytail. It is sometimes called a flip through, and it is the same style that the Topsy Tail helps you do, but actually you don`t need one. Just make your ponytail as usually, but a bit looser. Push your fingers up along your scalp from beneath the ponytail until you have sort of parted your hair just beneath and above the ponytail. Reaching up through this hole you have just made, grab the ends of your ponytail and pull it all the way through. Your hair should have a sort of a rolled look, and you can adjust or tighten the ponytail afterwards. This style is useful to know because it can be adapted into many different updos and styles---you can also do a partial flipthrough, with just the front of your hair, or braid the ponytail`s ends. Another easy way to dress up a ponytail is to take a small strand of hair, braided or not, and wrap it around the ponytail to cover the elastic band. It can be fastened by pulling it down through the elastic, or using a bobby pin.
Hope these ideas help.
Kim
