Style rec?

Hi, i'm just wondering if anyone could recommended some short (not too short) styles. I'm not big on short hair but my hair is just becoming so boring and hard to work with. I seriously feel like a change too. I figure that i should cut it while i'm game lol.
Here is what my hair currently looks like only all brown and wavy (still have a little of that perm - which i want to cut out):

I've been looking around on the net, tv, magazines and can't seem to find anything that i like.
