hey
ive got long, really dark brown, straight hair. i want something interesting to do with it for like special occasions and stuff without majorly changing it. i dont want anything all pretty, pretty and stuff, more the grunge look. id appreciate any interesting ideas from girls and guys.

why not go with short straight across bangs
Long with BLUNT bangs or ALL cut to lip length, I cant decide my favorite!

Why don't you try an updo? use chignon pins, hair forks, sticks, etc.. and try a french twist or bun. Okay, not grunge enough, I myself should know better... You could just do a twin braid. or... leave it down and mess it up?? Limiting your design to something "grungy" really narrows it down though. Anyhoo, Kurt Cobain is a god.

One of those really messy updos that looks like you put it up nice and then went riding in a convertible, that might work. But it up in like a loose, messy bun, just put in enough hairpins so it won't fall out completely, not so many it's like anchored, and purposely pull out random bits here and there.
More awesome than a manatee!
