hey...I am probably gonna sound like a total dork askin this but i am gonna ne way. What is a diffuser? My friend came to school with her hair kinda curly and she said she "diffused" it.......i was totally lost....so what is it....a chemical or a heat thing orwat?!

A diffuser is an attachment you put on the end of your blow fryer. It reduces the amount of heat and spreads out the pressure of the blow to a larger area. Does this make sense? It's like using a bigger shower head for the same amount of water, or in this case, hot air.
