Best thing to do is go to http://www.tinypic.com and browse for a pic on your hard drive. Then when you click on "host it", scroll down and you'll get a url. Then you can paste the url into here, or include the "img" tags around the url, and your pic should appear.

Whoops, just testing. That's a "cat unit" otherwise known as a yard.

Longer like those grunge bands would be soooo cool.. What are your other hair qualities? (fine/medium/coarse strand, thin/medium/thick)
Personally I think wavy hair would look really nice long, like Brandon Boyd from Incubus perhaps. Yahoo him and you'll see what I mean...

If it's thick and coarse, you might get too much volume unless you grow it to a minimum length (usually weighs itself down at about 5-6 inches) Growing your hair out isn't traumatic, but cutting can be... so the easiest thing is to grow it out anyway, and you can cut it again if you don't like it long : )

I think you'd do well with a longer style. Maybe other Hair Talk folk can post their suggestions too....?

If your hair is mostly the same length all around the head, then layers will automatically grow in because of the head shape. It will grow into a Beatle cut kinda, then move on from there. Hope this helps you : )
