QuoteReplyTopic: Black spikey hair with blue tips\highlights\streaks - How? Posted: December 07 2004 at 4:39am
Hey,
For about a year I've had short black spikey hair (not like "liberty spikes" but just short spikes) and I think it's time for a change. So I've decided that I want the majority of my hair black, but I want the tips blue (not sure what shade of blue, not too dark, i want it to be noticeable, but not too light).
I have no idea how to do this, I know how to spike the hair, but not how to colour it. I've been told I'll have to get it professionally done, stripped or bleached then I'm not sure what.
A better alternative which would look so wicked, is if the colour went from black to blue gradually, from the root to the tip of the hair, like a gradient colour.
I want this so bad, so I'm open for ANY help, suggestions, comments, tips and ideas.
Thanks; I live in Aus and currently just use Got2B hair glue and spray, works really good with short hair for spiking, I've used PPS products before too.
Styles: MEN Type: SHORT Then click picture number 1, and make sure the colour is on Violet in the top square (darkest violet) with colour tone and brightness halfway. This looks ideal, only instead of violet, a similar blue, drifting away from the purple colour and more into a blue colour.
Also if anyone has any suggestions on products that can help me achieve this look.
mi m8t has brown/black kinda hair and he gt blue tips at his spikes looks very sexy i thought!! dnt worry nufin can look worst dan wat i did 2 my hair last year iv gt brown hair and i gt it dipped in2 pink it lookd awful i juz got da end of my hair cut off! kez
Sup man. If you hair colour is black, you should really get red tips. My firend did this and ity looks so cool. Especially when he spikes it up. But if u wanna get blue go for it. Go to a hairdresser and they'll know wat to do. I strongly recomend red though. Peace brother.
