I would like to get a really kinky perm

I have short, very straight, baby fine, HARD TO CURL hair that I have had permed twice in the past. I liked the curly look and now I want to get the tightest, kinkiest perm I can using the smallest rods made. Any ideas as to how I get the result that I want? Ideally, I would like to have extremely curly hair like that of an Afro. What brand of perm and rod size/color should be used on me? Thanks for the advice.
