Do I have to trim the back much? Currently it is sort of 3-4 cm at the top and 1cm at the back. How long do you think it would take to grow?

Just in case.

Hi, Jett.

Well, on average hair grows about six inches a year (about 1 cm a month). The guy in the picture`s hair appears to be a bit longer than six inches, so it would probably take a little over a year if you didn`t trim the front at all. The back doesn`t appear to be as long, so you`d probably just want to let it grow for a couple of months and then get it trimmed about every six to eight weeks while the front is left to grow.

On a side note, his hair doesn`t look long enough to put into a ponytail, so you`ll have to get used to having hair in your face a lot. Styling products can be quite helpful. Just be sure not to overdo it as they can cause damage in the long run if not used properly.

Good luck growing.

Thanks for the reply, I had considered lettig the back grow, but desided not to for the sake of being different from the few men around here who do have long hair=)

That is too bad. I happen to know a very successful international business man who has this hairstyle and is taken very seriously by word. When I first met him my thoughts about his hair style says that he is flexible, artistic and has style. Between you and me I think that style is very sexy. I don`t think that is long.
