Hi Nick,Not that I know of for either count. But blowdrying damages the hair therefore causing it to break earlier than if dried naturally. So your hair might seem as though it's stopped growing.see ya,June> Does blowdrying cause hair to stop growing> or slow the growth of the hair thanx nick
