I am so frustrated with my hair. It is curly and fine so it is always frizzing. I am looking for any suggested hair care products or tips to help control it. I find that serums way down my hair too much since it is so fine and that mousse often gives me too much volume. Perhaps it is the way I use them I'm not sure. I would like to grow my hair really long. It is currently just past my shoulders but will be chopped if I can't figure out something soon. Any suggestions?Cat

AWWWW PU-lease, don't cut your hair if you really want it longer. You can do it! The weight of your hair as it gets longer might even help the fly aways. My hair gets really frizzy too, but it's thick and coarse so it can take a weighing-down with heavy leave in conditioners.Have you tried a light, leave-in spray? Maybe even keep a bit with you. Spray some lightly on the palms of your hands and just smooth the ends of your hair.see ya,June
Hi Cat, Do you brush your hair? If so, it is making your hair frizzier. Try hand-picking your hair when wet with a leave in conditioner (i like to use the Paul Mitchel Replicator Brand, which is cheap, but also serves as a good detangler). You have to find out what the right amount is to put in your hair (not too much and not too little). Don't scrub your scalp (if you do) when you wash your hair: It can cause tangles. Try only washing your hair in the direction of its strands by moving your hand along with the strands at the roots all the way to the ends. (This may be redundant; sorry if it is). I have longer curly hair of a medium thickness, so i can only talk with the perspective of my own hair in mind. The other person was right when they said the longer your hair, the less frizzy it will be. Does your hair ever go in ringlets naturally? I find sometimes picking hair with a pick too much would prevent ringlets also because it begins to separate the hair into too many individual strands just like a brush would do. Try also to not do anything to your hair when it is dry (only pick it when it is wet and thats it). If you are using a blow drier, stop because this also stops your hair from forming ringlets...just towel dry it by pressing the towel agaisnt your hair AND NEVER rub the towel back and forth (this will cause your hair to frizz for sure).Curly hair rocks!
