Hi, everyone. I just wanted to share with you a wonderful little discovery. I have naturally curly hair, not too fine, not too coarse. Well, I had bleached my dark-brown hair a lighter shade of brown about a year ago. Since then my hair had always been so dry. If I wore it curly it dried out quickly, but not as fast as if I tried to blow dry it straight.A friend of mine hair the same texture of hair as me and she bleached her hair right along with me a year ago. The only difference was most of the time her hair looked great and full of moisture, while I had my "brillo" pad days. I had decided I had enough so I asked her "What miracle product is making your hair look so good?" Her answer "Baby Oil!" Yep, that's right baby oil. Here's whatcha do:FOR CURLY HAIR: When you were your hair curly, if it's unbelievably dry, add a dab in your hand, rub your palm together, and apply it to your hair. If you want to blow-dry it straight, first do your normal routine. If you hair is kind of on the dry side after blow-drying or you live in a humid climate that makes your hair frizz, add baby oil to the straightened hair and then blow-dry it through once more. It should feel nice and mousterized. At first, it might feel greasy until you get the hang of it. It should especially help with damaged, porous, or fried hair that has been colored.FOR STRAIGHT HAIR: This may be a no-no for baby fine hair. I asked my friends to try this and it worked. Apply baby oil at night to your hair and wash it out in the morning. Your hair should be nice and shiny and mousturized if it normally isn't.These tips may not worked for everyone, but it couldn't hurt to give it a try. Please put any experiences trying this method on this board. I wanna know if it'll work for anybody else. Don't be chicken... try it!

Dear Juliana,My cousin suggested the same babyoil idea to me a few months ago. Her hair is relaxed and it works for her. My hair is curly, but i blow-dry it straight. It make my hair softer, shinier, and most importantly less frizzy.(I still haven't found anyhting to help with my hair curly yet, though.) I asked my Mom about it and she told me that Baby Oil has minreal oil in it and for years people (esp. with straight hair) would put mineral oil in their hair at might and wash it out in the morning to make their hair shiny. I just hope that some other people try it and let you know if it works for them.Marsha :-)> Hi, everyone. I just wanted to share with> you a wonderful little discovery.
