I have had curly hair all my life and now at age 15 it is starting to lose its curl. Somedays it will look realy good but other days some of it will be frizzy and dry and some wavy . I was wondering if you think a spiral perm would help I really want to get one. I want the hair to be all ringlets so what do you think I should do?

A perm can really damage your hair and that would contribute to the days it's frizzy and dry. I know I had curly hair when I was young and I tried to perm it to make the curls more controlled and YUCK, frizz city! Now I've got nice healthy wavy hair and I like it just as well. Have you tried any of the products out there that help encourage curl? I've had really good luck with Aveda's humectant pomade and I know that quite a few other companies have similar products.-jennifer
