Hi,I have used it on my hair. I have very thick naturally wavy, slightly dry hair. I love the way that it is so light and it foams. It gave me a lot of shine and good hold. However, I do prefer Aveda Confixer for a stronger hold.I think it is worth trying. It seems to be a great product. I think it has a lot of potential. Cher can probably comment on this as well.Karen> Has anyone used the Aveda product Phomollient?>> If so, what did you think of it.......and> what kind of hair do you have?> thanks
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

Yep.. I have a bottle of Phomollient. I think it's a marvelous product. My hair is thick and wavy also. I use it mostly to slather on the sides of my head to tame the flyaways..especially the gray hairs I have there. Today we went to an amusement park and I put my hair up in a pony tail. I used it on the sides and back before I put my hair up then I smoothed alittle on the top and sides afterwards. It did a great job of holding it all in place. Tho, riding the newest roller coaster about jerked my ponytail down..I pulled out a comb and redid the ponytail and the phomollient was still at work. Like Karen said, it's not a heavy duty hold but for me it does what I am looking for. I would recommend it to anyone.. Cher> Hi,> I have used it on my hair. Hi,I've been using this product for about four months and I really like it. I have fine hair with a little wave in it and it helps tone down frizzies and gives me some body.> Has anyone used the Aveda product Phomollient?>> If so, what did you think of it.......and> what kind of hair do you have?> thanks

My college roommate swears by this stuff. She guards it with her life and says that it is hard to find? Is that true or is she just trying to hog it all for herself? :-)Sally> Hi,> I've been using this product for about four> months and I really like it. I happened to be in the salon the day they got their first shipment in. I had asked for some type of mousse to put on my wild grays..and since I have dry hair, the stylist recommended the Phomollient. She said it was brand new. Since then I have heard salons are having a hard time keeping stock of it. Your friend may have better luck at an Aveda Concepts Store. I went to one the last time to buy the oil and some more Curessence and saw the Phomollient there. At any rate.. I hoard mine too.. all my Aveda products are hidden in my bathroom.. ;-)> My college roommate swears by this stuff.> She guards it with her life and says that it is> hard to find? > Has anyone used the Aveda product Phomollient?>> If so, what did you think of it.......and> what kind of hair do you have?I just got some today, actually. I went to one of the salons near my lab building, looking for some more Curessence. They were out, so I bough some Deep-Penetrating Revitalizing Conditioner to try until I can get some Curessence. I also saw the Phomollient, and thought it looked sort of interesting.I read the label, and didn't find any silicones in it, so I thought it might be worth a try. I don't generally use any styling products at all - they don't really help with my fine, thick hair - it's so fine it slips out of anything. However, since I am growing out my bangs, I want a way to keep them out of my eyes (they're at an awkward length). I thought the Phomollient might help, so I bought some. It's really hot and humid here today, so my hair has been a little uncooperative. When I got home, I put some Phomollient on it, and brushed it through, and my bangs have stayed back and my hair has not tangled a bit! I'm really impressed!I have not, of course, seen the long-term effects it will have on my hair, but so far, so good! And it didn't take much, either, in spite of my hair being fairly thick.Laura Jane lswanson@sunflower.bio.indiana.edu
