Hi. I tried Jojoba oil because I heard it was really good for dry hair, but when I used it is seemed to dry it out more. I did leave it in all night, could that be the problem? The type I got is 100% pure. Also, I was wondering if anyone has tried Louise Marie Longhairs hair products. You can find her at Fnlonghair.com.

Hi,I found undeleted Jojoba oil not to work for me as well as Aveda's Beautifying oil. That is just my experience though.I have heard mixed reports on Louise Marie Longhairs. I know that she is in Canada.Connie> Hi. I tried Jojoba oil because I heard it> was really good for dry hair, but when I used> it is seemed to dry it out more. I use the jojoba oil regularly, though, and I've never had a problem with it being drying. How much shampoo did you use to wash it out? If you used too much, that could contribute. I find that using the jojoba oil leaves my hair feeling a little slick even after washing - it isn't "sqeaky clean" (which is probably overdoing it anyway). I don't think leaving it in overnight is the problem - I find the longer I leave it in, the better it works. I haven't tried all night, though - I can't sleep with a hat on.Good luck, anyway.Laura Jane lswanson@sunflower.bio.indiana.edu
