I have always loved men with longer hair and I love the photo of Dave on the home page. (Great hair) I also love the photo of the guy with really long hair in the new men's Gallery. (I would love to know his name).Most of my female friends prefer men with shorter hair. I am just wondering what some of you think here on Hair Talk?Janelle
Ok, Janelle, you asked for it and since this is one of my favorite subjects, I cast my two cents for the longhairs!!! Is there anything more of a turnoff than the shaved neck look? YUCK! My favorite place is just behind the ear right on the neck, where the hairs are all soft and curly, ooooooo. Or how about where the sideburns flow into a beard? MERCY! Men with long hair are VERY sexy, very virile, very cool. JMHO!Best wishes to all!Dawn

I really love men with long hair but sometimes I feel guilty that I am being shallow about it (which I always complain that men are) :-)I had a boyfriend for about 1 year who had long curly hair to the middle of his back. I used to love to brush it and comb it and braid it. I think I liked his hair better than I liked him. Hi all,I have always loved men with long hair. I don't feel bad that it is my "type".I know that the men I have been involved with have been attracted to my long hair or blonde hair or shortness or whatever. That is how we are all built as humans. There is almost always a physical attraction of some sort between two people.I also realize that looks are not the only thing. I also love beards and facial hair. So a man that has a beard, mustache and long hair is very sexy to me.When I was in France a few years ago a lot of the French men wore longer ponytails. I was in heaven looking at all the gorgeous men with great longer hair. :-)Great topic. OK, I'm not being completely truthful. There are some men that look beautiful with short hair. One of my favorite music artists, Phillip Anselmo,(lead singer of Pantera)had gorgeous long hair and then he shaved his head BALD! He is still SO FINE. I would also like to add that I have been attracted to many men (long hair or short)that were not so fine. Personally, I think it depends on the individual man's features. If a guy is very masculine and muscular in build, he might look good with longer hair. However, in my opinion, I think that most men look better with reasonably short hair, and that most women look better with longer hair (not necessarily butt length, but not pixie cut, either!). That's just my opinion, however.
