I haven't noticed any problems. I've been braiding my hair in one or two braids for about 6-7 years running. I leave it in the braid/s overnight, comb it out in the morning and rebraid. I know people who can't do it, though. It gives them a headache/scalpache to tie back very much.

A scrunchie or a lightly tied ribbon is much better.Have u ever thought of tying back your hair with a portion of your hair if u have enough hair? I have found this to be a good solution and u a can be creative, too.
