As an amateur portrait photographer, my favorite thing is shooting pictures of beautiful women. I'd like to learn how to fix their hair much as the pro's do in "Glamour Shots" studios. They don't cut, perm, or dye, just know how to curl, spray, tease, do up-dos, etc... Where would I learn just this? I'm not interested in becoming a full fledged cosmotologist. I just think it would add a whole new dimension to my enjoyment of women and photography.

Hi,You have a couple of options. You could buy some of the wonderful videos that are available that show how to "do hair" or you could buy some Milady textbooks or you could go to beauty school at night and take a few courses. Then practice, practice, practice.Neil may have some suggestions on some good video courses. I know that he has reviewed some and has some great insights.I think it is great that you want to learn to do this. It should not be hard with the right books & videos.Let us know what you decide to do.Best wishes,Karen> As an amateur portrait photographer, my favorite> thing is shooting pictures of beautiful women.> I'd like to learn how to fix their hair much as> the pro's do in "Glamour Shots" studios.> They don't cut, perm, or dye, just know how to> curl, spray, tease, do up-dos, etc...
