I used to have really long hair, but i didn't take good care of it, so it became dry and it looked really bad. So i cut my hair two weeks ago hoping that it will look better and be healthier. It became healthier but it doesn't look that good. i feel sorry for cutting it although a lot of people tell me that it looks nicer. i just want an advice to let my hair look nice. it is long enough to just reach my sholders. it is the kind that has a volume. it is not curly but somehow wavey. alot of people advice me of using the hair dryer but i am afraid that that might damage it.I would really appreciate an advice. Thank you.

Thank you.How long was your hair before you cut it? It sounds like you need to get into a good hair care regime. Hair dryers if used on a regular basis can damage your hair. Stay away from them as much as possible or use a defuser. You might try one of the line of products that have been successful with the ones on this board. I use either Aveda or Nature's Gate.. Also check out Karen's great hair care ideas.. Cher~
