Hi Susan,Congrats on your new job. :-)Yes, there are lots of things you can do to make your ponytail look more exciting.1. After you have your hair in the ponytail stick a few hot rollers in it to give you a cascade of curls.2. Use some tempoarary hair mascara and apply some streaks along the edges of your ponytail. You can be subtle or really wild with the colors you select.3. Wear tiny braids interspersed with the rest of the ponytail.4. Wear two ponytails. You can gather one part of the top of your hair closest to the crown in a high ponytail and take the rest of your hair that is left and put that into a second ponytail.5. Wear different hair jewelry including adding a fresh flower to the top of your ponytail.6. Wear your hair in a topknot instead of a bun.7. Wear your hair in one single braid.Hope those give you some new ideas for your ponytail. Remember to always use "hair friendly" ponytail ties and avoid the metal elastic bands. Scrunchies are always great as are covered bands that are smooth and will not catch your hair. Never use a rubber band or anything that will catch and rip your hair.Best wishes. :-)Karen> My name is Susan.> I have long strait hair. It sounds like it's really up my alley. What types of places carry the stuff? Only hair places? Or do drug stores now have them? The two ponytails idea is great. I do that with braids, but never could keep the top ponytail from getting tangled into the securing of the bottom one. Any tips? What kind of hair jewelry do you have in mind? I've heard of the hairsticks here. What else, barrettes? Tell! Tell! Thanks!RunningWild
