Dry hair

I moved to So. Cal in March.. now that the weather is cooling off and drying up a bit, so is my hair. I would appreciate any helpful hints. I use a biotin shampoo and conditioner as well as the Mane and Tail shampoo. I also use a conditioning pack (not as often as I should). What can I do. I am blonde, but it is dark blonde and lightens as it goes down. I am thinking about lightening the rest of it to match... any hints on that as well?? Thanks alot. Marlea
