I have slightly wavy med course hair. I like to wear it straight. I have tried some products, store bought and recently I purchased Lamaur straightening balm. I would like some suggestions of some terrific products you may have used. (humidity control a necessity).thanks to all who respond.

I have also used drugstore-bought Freeman straightening lotion. The Freeman's works better for me. The Lamaur product really leaves my hair sticky and gooey feeling (even when dry). I have not been pleased with it. Our hair sounds very similar. I asked a salon stylist about the new Rusk Anti-Curl salon treatment, and she said my hair is just not "big" enough...It is wavy-curly, with a mind of its own, but not big and uncontrollable. I am interested in the results you'll get, too. The salon stylist recommended a salon-only product, such as the KMS flat-out or the Rusk str8. I have a friend that uses Str8 and likes it. Good luck!
