Hi there!I hope you can help me! I recently colored my hair a medium auburn and the ends went black. I had used a semi-permanent about a month ago and was sure it was "washed out". I really don't like my hair this dark and don't wish to cut it!Could someone please shed some words of wisdom my way! Thanks in advance!Josette :)

hi josette, what happened is your ends accepted the color more because the cuticle is more open. Ends are usually more porous than the rest of the hair from styling, chemicals, etc. So the ends sucked up the color like a hungry sponge. My advice would be to go to a professional for a corrective service. When you color your hair at home you're taking a big risk, I would suggest seeing a professional stylist for your hair care needs. They always have great advice and will always make your hair look the best. Remember to tell the stylist everything you've done to your hair and how long ago each service was done, this way he/she will have an accurate idea of what went wrong and what to do from that point on.good luckdef
