Helen of Troy, while not the highest end brand, usually guarantees their products and is commonly found in salons and beauty retail stores. There is the store provided by this websight, but I'm afraid I have not yet familiarized myself with what it carries. Some of the driers carried in regular dept stores are good. Wattage is the first thing I would look at. Anything less than 1600 may not be strong enough to satisfy you, having long hair.
