Help; curly salon in Boston

I would really appreciate some help in finding a salon in the Boston area that specializes in curly hair. Every salon I go to never seems to take into consideration what my hair does when it dries, and my layers end up looking funny or they cut too much off. My hair always looks MUCH shorter when dry. PLEASE help. I'm trying to grow my shoulder length hair longer but it's taking forever. I try to get regular trims; I ask for half an inch off and they cut off more like an inch and a half and there goes three months of waiting. I want somebody who understands how curly hair works. I looked at the naturallycurly.com site, but none in my area. Thanks in advance. Bren
