HelloI am looking for hair care products that are made especially for children with black textured hair. The shampoos for children that I use on her hair presently do not condition her hair well enough and I am forced to use an adult conditioner on her hair. And although the adult conditioners leave her hair managable I am concerned about getting it into her eyes. I am therefor interested in any advise in terms of children's products or even natural products (maybe even something one might have normally in the home that you don't think of but works at conditioning hair) to condition my 9 month old's hair. Thanks in advance for your help.Ava
Hi Ava,You might want to try Optimum Care conditioner. It's pretty mild and doesn't sting the eyes. Usually shampoos are what you have to watch out for. You might want to try using a baby shampoo, like Johnson & Johnson's, along with that conditioner. Let me known how this goes. Good luck!----Marsha :-)
I am in the same boat with my daughter. SHe has been on antibiotics since she was 3 months. At least on kind or another with every check up. Her hair is dry and brittle, so I needed something that would make her hair manageable and softer to cut down on the breakage.I currenty use the Johnson& Johnson No More Tangles shampoo. They make two. On for short hair, and one for longer hair. To condition, I use the ARTec M-Pac diluted with a little water. This stays onher hair for a little while (5 minutes). This might be too much for your 9 month old. Mine is 18 months. The I rub some Widgrowth hair oil on it as it dries. This works best for me.If you can find something that works better, post it here, because I'm looking for new ideas.

It is used by children, women and men. It also protects the skin and forehead against heat from hair dryer. The best use of this product is protecting you and your family from breathing in the chemicals from hair spray and the vapors from shampoo, perfume and cologne. You can get more details of the Facesaver at the Website, http://www.facesaver.com.Goodluck.Bright.
