I can't really get salon brands because there is only 1 salon nearest me and all they have is Biolage, Paul Mitchell, Vavoom, and Image.I would also like to know how good these products are. Are they good, probably not as good as Aveda huh?I'd like to buy these products as everything, but I'm afraid that they might not be worth the money.

Hi Eileen,In my personal experience, I found Vavoom conditioner(don't remember the name it had, but it had green on an otherwise all black bottle)to be the best out of all the products you have listed above. Basically I am a Nexxus Humectress userand try to avoid silicones-I'm not sure if the Vavoom has it or not. Silicones can build up and dry out hair and can cause breakage. Read Paula begoun's book "Don't Go shopping For Haircare Products without Me"-it has tons of information on salon and store brands.Holly

I've been using Nexus for over 10 years and won't use anything else. I've tried a few other salon brands like Biolage (hated it) and Aveda (ok) and I've tried a few store brands without much luck. I've got thick long hair that is pretty dry, but if I use Nexxus Keraphix, it seems to stay pretty managable. They also make a leave in conditioner that I've only sampled, but works GREAT

My favorites are Senscience Rusk. If you don't live near a good beauty supply, it's very easy to order products online.
