Has anyone compared the ARTec Volumizing, Smoothing, and Kiwi lines? What were the differences, in terms of shine, moisture, volume, and body? How is the Kiwi line different from the Smoothing shampoo and conditioner? Also, has anyone tried combinations, such as, say, volumizing shampoo, and smoothing conditioner? Thanks a lot, PD.
Hi there PD,I have tried the many of the different ARTec products. In fact, in answer to your last question, I use the Volumizing Shampoo followed by the Smoothing Conditioner once a week as part of a clarifying routine. The Smoothing Shampoo has a milky white appearance, while the Volumizing shampoo is clear. Ingredient wise, there are less emulsifiers in the Volumizing shampoo, and hence you get less build-up. I'm a curly head, so I do like the Smoothing shmapoo for daily use, but the Volumizing does the trick once a week. One note, even though I use it as a clarifier, it does NOT leave my hair dry feeling-- it is still silky! I also have the Texture Creme, Smoothing Serum, Texture Gel, and Aeromousse. All work well, although I don't particularly care for the Smoothing Serum for my blow-out sessions. For those i use a totally different product line. My curls love the gel and Mousse and i love the SMELL of the Texture Creme. My all time favorite piece form ARTec is from their colorist collection. I am IN LOVE with the Moisture-PAc! I can not reccomend any better treatment conditioner than this stuff. I would pay twice as much for it! I color my hair (quite often) and this really mends it up (shy of a hair cut). I hope that this helps. Sorry that I cannot give you advice on the Kiwi line, but I have not heard anything good about it, infact what I have heard is that the only thing good about it is the smell. Although, In the past I did use the Kiwi Detangling Spray, but I am not a fan of leave-in sprays anyway-- i prefer to use a pea size amount of regular condtioner!Sherry> Has anyone compared the ARTec Volumizing, Smoothing,> and Kiwi lines?
