Hi Trix,

Wow. Sounds spectacular.

I saw a woman in New Mexico a few years ago that had stark white hair to her knees. It was thick and healthy and gorgeous. I asked if I could take her photo and she said yes. I took several but being a klutsy photographer they did not turn out well and I was not able to use them. :-(. I hope my hair looks half that good as I get older.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

dad is sicilian and has black hair with silver streaks, and brown eyes....mom has dark brown hair with silver and blue eyes...

then theres me....a natural blonde, with green eyes and dad`s skin... light olive italian skin...lol.

i do have grey hair in my eyebrows and hair but not enough to be able to tell if it is grey or silver...

Grandma`s hair was every shade between black and light silver and it was beautiful....oh to be so lucky.

Hair type: fine but thick; natural blonde with 15% grey

Hi Wuvie,

I took the liberty of looking at your webpage, and I must say that your hair is *gorgeous*!!

My absolute favorite style on you is the spiral bun. It`s extremely elegant!

I really think that one of the reasons for the "must cut hair after certain age rule" is that some women with long hair simply do not take care of it. The long hair is extremely thin and scraggly and unkempt. We then mistake that one look as being representative of all women with long hair, and it isn`t so! Hair of any length that has not been cared for is not attractive.

The bottom line is that how a person takes care of her hair is ultimately more important than her age.

Btw, has any woman with long hair told you that it`s "time" to cut your hair? I somehow doubt it. Your hair is obviously healthy, thick, and gorgeous. Now, if you were working in the food industry and wore your hair down and in front of you, I`d be the first to suggest that you secure it in back of you! But securing it back is much different than cutting it.

But, I really think that the women who tell you it`s time to cut your hair wish you would do so because it would validate their own choice to cut their hair. Who knows -- maybe one or two of them had long hair at one time and felt pressure to cut it, and now they`d like company from you!

If and when you decide to cut it, I think you should. But until or unless that happens, I say more power to you!
