Hi,I know that Shades EQ is great haircolor, I've had it before, however, I don't have $60 once a month to maintain it. I wanted to try Clairol Glints but can't seem to find the shade I need, it seem like it is being discontinued because stores only carry one or two brands. Sally beauty supply has some brands in there but I'm afraid to try something unknown without a recommendation. I want to turn my medium brown, rather dull hair up a few notches (like to a shiny rich brown). It has been previously colored with semi-permanent color and was badly botched and damaged about a year ago by a bad stylist. It is in decent shape (recovery) now but too fragile for repeated peroxide attacks, no matter how low, but I really crave that just-colored intense color and shine. Any suggestions for a do-it-yourself deposit only brand that has good results? Also, is there any danger of damage (or buildup) with deposit only? Thanks
