Hi Everyone! Many folks are confused as to what pins to use when they perform an updo:The pins the magazine articles are refering to are "Bobby-Pins" - these can beobtained at any drugstore in the Hair and Beauty accessory area. Prior toinstalling them in your hair, cross the two prongs over one anothercreating an "X" - then pushthem into the hair at the point you need control and give them a twist (like turning a door or car key)to lock and secure them in your hair.In your service,Mickhael
Hi!Having curly hair, I live by bobby pins! To just pull my hair up looks too severe and fake. So, I work with individual sections-- taking my time to pin each section up. Curly hair is TERRFIC for hiding these little buggers and the results that I achieve are of salon quality (I think anyway). Just take your time and learn how to work with bobby-pins, they ARE fantastic!Sherry~> Hi Everyone!> Many folks are confused as to what pins to use when> they perform an updo:> The pins the magazine articles are refering to are> "Bobby-Pins" - these can be> obtained at any drugstore in the Hair and Beauty> accessory area.
