Can anyone recommend a good relaxer for me to use? I have thin hair and I can not use Revlon or Hawaiian silk. All recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
The present is the past tomorrow. :)

My hair is very soft and curly at the roots. She thinks maybe the adult relaxers are too, strong. Do you think a 22yr. old girls hair would take a kiddie perm after having braids in for a year.(They are done every two months) All recommendations will be greatly appreciated.
I had a devil of a time finding a relaxer that did not burn my hair or scalp. First and foremost, don't do it yourself. Next, try Vitale (sensitive scalp and dry hair) or Affirm (either mild, medium or dry hair and sensitive scalp). These work for me and I've never had a problem with irritation. Plus, my hairdresser, who is italian, uses it on his hair also. So, I know that it works on various hair types.Where are you located, if you are in Southern California, perhaps I can even recommend salons.Hope this helps,Melanie
