I finally got my bangs chemically straightened.I went to Fantastic Sams, the service there was great and it was cheap but you came out with the same results as any Aveda salon.Anyways, I am really fully happy with my straight bangs. My bangs are actually long and they stay to the side pretty much.I love them!!!! I just wanted to say that anyone who has unmanageable curly or wavy bangs might consider having them straightened. Its really cool after and I just can't get over it!!!!

Little O:Congratulations! I can't imagine having bangs that are straight without a lot of work. A couple of questions:How curly were your bangs before the service? What texture is your hair?Do you have any color product on your hair? How long is your hair overall?Sorry for the drill, but just checking all angles..Laura> I finally got my bangs chemically straightened.> I went to Fantastic Sams, the service there was great> and it was cheap but you came out with the same> results as any Aveda salon.> Anyways, I am really fully happy with my straight> bangs.> My bangs are actually long and they stay to the side> pretty much.> I love them!!!! Hi :)My bangs were not curly, they were however wavy I call them curly though but they're actually wavy and frizzy and I hated them. The back of my hair is between wavy and straight and not frizzy at all.My hair is medium textured meaning not fine or coarse, but more on the finer side. I haven't ever colored my hair and I don't intend to because I love my natural dark brown color. My bangs were lip length, but they are now chin length because I straightened them. The back of my hair is down to my kidneys. No problem, ask away. If you ever plan to do this, I reccommend asking a lot of people questions first to make sure that this is what you want.A tip after straightening to get them even more straight but still natural looking is to smooth your hair back into a ponytail and apply about quarter sized amount of either KMS's Flat out or Fantastic sams brand anti-curl solution. This stuff does not leave build up or anything. Anyways, leave this on until it dries and when you take down your ponytail, it will be straighter than ever.I am so satisfied!! Chemically straightening my whole head was not necessary but someone with curly hair might enjoy that. The process didn't even damage my hair at all!
