I have hair that reached past my shoulders right now....thin, wavy, but alot of it. I'm thinking of getting a bob cut to bring it back to life, look more polished, and having to take less time to care for it. I'd like any input from people who are sporting this classic hairstyle. Thanks! Jeanie

Thanks! JeanieMy hair was also about an inch past my shoulders until I got it cut off to just touch my shoulders. It's like yours - thin, slightly wavy (mostly in back) and lots of it. Before I got it cut it was really flat on top because since it's all one length it was getting weighed down but when I just got an inch cut off it wasn't as flat. I think it also looks more professional this way and it's still long enough to put up too.

Jeanie, We have very simular hair styles. I used to keep a bob and I loved it but if you hair is very wavy like mine was you'll need to blow dry everyday too get the smooth effect that I like so well. This takes time. I have grown my hair out now because my husband loves long hair. Once it had reached your length it was to hard to blow dry all of it anymore and even after an hour of work I would still have waves so I oppted for a perm so I wouldn't have to work with it every day(so much at least). I loved my bob!! About the only upside to my hair now is being able to pull it up in different ways. P.S. If you decide to go with the bob ask your stylist about the cut on your face shape and also ask for pictures of people with the same shape face in this cut. Good Luck, Let me know what you decide.
