Thin, volumeless hair.

Please help.> TaraHi Tara. From experience, I know that highlighting or coloring hair will give it some added volume. My hair isn't thin but it's straight as the day is long. I roll my hair on the top not vertical, but angle the roller out over my forehead & then roll. It will place volume at the base of the hair rather than just rolling straight up & down. Makes a big difference. Also, take small sections on the top where it's flat & lightly spray with hairspray one section at a time and tease it gently with a comb. The teasing takes much better when there's spray on the hair. You can then smooth it out gently & it'll give some added volume to the top. As far as adding curl, my best bests are steam rollers or Velcro. Hot rollers and curling irons are a no-go for my type hair. I've never found a miracle product that helps give roots lift like they say they will. I do like ARTec's Volumizing Gel & I've always been a fan of Sebastian Fizz Extra Mousse.
