I've been using the Aveda custom color shampoo and conditioner on and off for about a month, but it really doesn't do much at adding anything to my hair(I have very light golden blonde color that I like to freshen up on the ends). So, I'm interested in trying the ARTec color shampoo and/or conditioner. When I went go check it out today, the stylist told me that I should use the Lemon Flower, and use either the shampoo OR conditioner. She said that shampoo does a better job at deposting the color and that I don't need both. What does everyone else use? I just assumed you would use both. Also, how often do you use this(I was thinking every other shampoo) and do you get build-up from this? I had a problem with build-up from the Aveda. Thanks!Kara

Hi Kara,I like this stuff! It really does deposit a small bit of color. Not sure if it is just the shampoo, conditioner, or both that does this most. I use the duo in "Orange Marigold". I must say that after I use it, I can definitely tell a difference in the brilliance of the color of my hair. No problem of buildup. I use is 2x a week. I alternate with the Kiwi duo. (I believe Karen Shelton tried the "Lemon Flower" and found it didn't work for her.) With any hair product, YMMV! :-)
