My hair is brown with red highlights and I color it to get rid of some of the red (I just don't like it)but the color fades pretty quick and will fade even faster in the sun. It ends up turning a very light reddish orange with looks horrible. Is there a leave-in spray or product that prevents sun fading?

Hi Roberta,Yes, there is a product out there to help you. I personally use it myslef every morning to keep my color from becoming brassy. It is Keihls Levae-In COnditioner with Panthenol and Coconut Oil. It is a thick white cream without any scent. The label states that it contains a sunscrean to protect hair from damage by the sun (Octyl Methoxtcinnamate-- I think this is the sunscrean). It is very conditioning too, and works great on my fine but thick naturally curly hair. I also beleive that Phytotherthrie makes a product called Phytoplage Oil. I have never used it personally, but it is supposed to protect from sun damage and discoloration. I have personally used the Keihls COnditioner for about two months now and it is definitley a keeper!!!Sherry~> My hair is brown with red highlights and I color it to> get rid of some of the red (I just don't like it)but> the color fades pretty quick and will fade even faster> in the sun.
