Hi, I went to WW Beauty Store today and noticed that Aveda is no longer on the product list. Can anyone tell me why and where I might be able to find it? Thanks in advance.

Aveda was purchased by Estee Lauder and with the purchase came a whole new direction with the company.Aveda under the new Estee Lauder umbrella pulled out all stops to make sure that Aveda products were ONLY sold through Aveda concept salons. WW Beauty and several other online shops got hit and lost their Aveda concessions.I am not currently aware of any online stores that still sell Aveda although there may be some that I am not aware of.The reason I switched to ARTec and Phyto was because of this very reason where it is very inconvenient for me to purchase the Aveda products. I used to order all my Aveda from WW Beauty. Now I have to drive for close to 30 mintues to the nearest Aveda concept salon and the markup is incredible.Yes, I love the products still, but I have three jobs and barely have time to read my email let along spend 1 hour roundtrip to buy my haircare products.Industry experts believe that this new philosophy will hurt Aveda in the long run. Only time will tell.Best wishes,Karen> Hi, I went to WW Beauty Store today and noticed that> Aveda is no longer on the product list. I don't know if this is considered a concept hair salon, but there is an Aveda store (which sells Aveda products but is not a salon) in Tyson's Corner mall (I think that's the name of it) in Virginia as I was just there a little over a week ago. The shampoo and conditioner I purchased were actually a lot less than I can get at a salon!Jena
That is a Concepts Salon.. I have been there quite a few times myself.
