Hey!There was someone out there that recommended this product for resisting humidity (sorry, I can't remember who :) ). Can you tell me more about this product? Is it a before blow-dry thing, or is it a hair spray? Is it an aerosol? Does it build up?Etc, etc. Thanks so much!Alexandra

I did purchase Paul Mitchell's "THE HEAT" and my hair felt awful!! It had a horrible build up....kinda like sand paper. My hair was not soft at all! Although, it really does resist humidity. I live in Oklahoma so it's really humid here. It's alright, if you don't mind your hair feeling rough and brittle! You do have to use a blow dryer for it to work and it comes in a spritz bottle. It costs about $10.00 at a Salon.Sara

If your hair felt like sand paper, I would suggest you change your shampoo and conditioner because your hair is lacking something. I don't know what you use or if your hair is chemically treated, but if you are not using Paul Mitchell on your hair to cleanse and condition you will never have the ultimate results you are looking for from The Heat. Good hair starts with the right shampoo and conditioner!

Good hair> starts with the right shampoo and conditioner!Hi Fran! The shampoo and conditioner I use is "Loreal" Vita-vive. I love the results it gives. It has alot of vitamin B in it. Yes, I do color my hair. I know that's where alot of my damage is. My hair is extremely long so most of it is 5 year old dead hair. I keep my ends cut every 2 months. Maybe I need to give Paul Mitchell another try....I just know that the first time I used it I didn't like the results. What shampoo/conditioner do you recommend?Thanks.....Sara :)
