I personally do a lot better with products that either don't have sls or if they do it is way down on the ingredients list.> Its a possibility ammonium lauryl sulfate might be ok> for the hair.My hair feels a bit dry after using the> product but then products with sodium lauryl sulfate> tends to dry my hair too. Please correct me if I'm> wrong.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

Hi ej,Yes, in th United States the labeling is worded in the order of the amount in the product. The further on you read an ingredient, the lesser the amount of it is.For example, you'll usually find that water is the first ingredient listed. That's becuase it's usually what makes up the product the most. Hope this helps you.Holly

I think it depends on your hair and what's best for it. If your hair feels too dry afterwards, look for gentler ingredients as in other posts. Personally, I love Neutrogena Shampoo because my hair is oily and I love the way it makes my hair feel. I cannot use the gentler ingredients because my scalp itches afterwards.
