I have had blonde highlights on my mousey blonde/brown hair for years. However, now the gray is starting to peak through and this is also making it very dry.I am tentatively considering getting the hairdresser to do a one color to cover up the gray in say light golden brown. Has anyone done this? If so, what are the results?

This will give that color something to grab onto.Good luck.
