At Home Dye Job Gone VERY BAD!

As a child my hair was light blonde, but as I get older it gets darker. Yesterday I decided to dye it a very light blonde color, but it didn't turn out right. One problem I know is that there wasn't enough of the stuff to cover all of my hair, so I have dark root patches in a few places (mostly in the back). Another problem is that the ends turned out like they were supposed to, but the roots are orange. I would just like to have it back the old way or fixed. Either way I don't want half orange, half blonde hair with brown patches in it. Who would? If you can tell me what to do email me at dana_beck@hotmail.com.
