Last year I was swept up in the excitement over viviscal. I am never happy with my hair and color it too much, which in turn made me have to cut it. So I yearned for long hair. Well, I don't have a lot of money, but saved some because I HAD to get my hands on this miracle. When I got it (a months supply), every day I measured my hair because I was obsessed. The excitement soon turned out to be disgust, and I could have kicked myself for throwing that much money down the toilet and for being naive. There was absolutely no change in the rate of growth. So anyway, beware.

Courtney,I think that you have to take the product longer than one month. I've heard that some people don't see results until three or four months. As with any drug, it has to get into your system before it can begin working accurately. I've been taking the product for about a week now. I was more worried about possibly having side effects, rather than it not working. I'll let you know what happens in the next few months. I know other readers are taking this product, maybe they will post something too. If you still want to grow your hair, but aren't willing to spend a lot of money, try to get some jojoba oil and give yourself scalp massages with it. The oil will hopefully stimulate growth. You may also want to invest in some vitamins like B6 and E. Keep your hair conditioned well and treat it gently. Try not to use too much heat on it either. Patience is the key. Hope this helps! Happy hair growing!! =)PS- You might want to read the articles by Regina Key and H. Taylor> Last year I was swept up in the excitement over> viviscal. Jennifer- Thank you very much for taking the time to respond. I also appreciate the advice- I will try the vitamins, etc. for now. Perhaps I didn't give Viviscal a chance, but why are others seeing results right away I wonder? I am very interested in hearing what your progress is. I wish I had the money to continue taking it. It did cross my mind that I didn't take it long enough. So, I'll live vicariously through your experience:-)! I hope the best for you.-------Courtney

>Courtney, you must be patient but it does seem that viviscal is not working for you. I am on my fourth month and I have some good results. After one month you should have had some sort of hair growth (about an inch). However, it is also recomended that you drink lots of water, take a multivitamin, and breath deeply. The breathing is key. It fills your head with fresh oxygen and lets the viviscal that is in your blood flow the best it can. I hope I helped you.

Courtney,I took Viviscal for over six months and saw no change in hair growth. I took it for the entire six months so I wouldn't be told I didn't give it a chance. I'm not saying that this product does not work for some, but it did absolutely nothing for me. So I too would say "buyer beware!"Rachael

> Rachael--Thank god there is someone else who experienced the same thing. I'm also glad you told me you took it for 6 mos, becuz I thought of maybe someday getting it again and giving it a "chance". I appreciate the info, and now I'm done with Viviscal for good. Courtney

So anyway, beware.I was so close, several times, to shelling out "beaucoup" money for Viviscal, and I am so glad I was able to resist that temptation.I kept recalling someone telling me when I was a child that, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is." When something new comes out that seems like the answer to a prayer, I just cool my heels and wait until the results come in from others who use it. If it is as good as the advertisements claim, it will be around for a long time. If it fizzles out and I have wasted my money chasing a pipe dream, I sadly write it off as tuition for a course at the University of Hard Knocks and come away a much wiser, more educated person.I am truly glad for those of you for whom Viviscal seems to really be working. Please keep the rest of us updated from time to time.
