I've found an elegant hairstyle for my thick, coarse, shoulder length hair

If any of you have thick, coarse, dry hair as I do, you will know the problem it is to look sleek and elegant. I have hair past my shoulders and the last six inches is layered. When the hairdresser blow drys it it looks stunning. When I do it, it can look like a haystack.By chance I found a style that looks great that is simple. Everyone is saying how great it looks, so I thought I would share for people with hair like mine, who can't just whip it up into a braid or chignon as it is just too darn THICK.I pulled the bottom back into a ponytail and fastened with a scrunchy. The top part is too short to go into that so I drew it back over my head and fastened at the top/back of my head with a matching slide. I have bangs also and the result is just great. It is great for bad hair days - try it, fellow haystacks: you too can look sleek without a hairdresser!
