Is it true that frequent use of a clarifying or dandruff shampoo will gradually lightening colored hair? Should you leave the shampoo on for any specific period of time. Will the clarifying/dandruff shampoo do any thing "funny" to my hair color? I used a perm. med brown shade (my hair is naturally auburn with some gray) that really turned out too dark for me. Someone told me to try using dandruff or clarifying shampoos before doing anything else. Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.
