I am a 15 year old who really would like to change the tone of my haircolor. My natural hair colour is more like a medium to dark chesnut brown, but I have used product lightners (sun in, etc) which overall, had little change in my haircolour, and did very little damage to my hair, though it is slightly drier. What I really would like to know is if I can go to the salon and have my stylist use Redkin Shades EQ? It doesn't matter what colour change I have, just something different, maybe copperly/red. Another question I have, is this permanent since I have no grey, and am I too young for this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any help is greatly appreciated.Dear Renee,Shades is an excelent product and it is not a permanent color. Its temperary and very safe especialy if its the first time because its not very damaging to the hair. a word of advice though, tell your stylist about everything that you have used in your hair any colors or perms especialy about the sun in. (Especialy if your hair is long. Because something that you put in two or three months ago is still in your hair today.) That way she or he can make a better judgemnt on the processing so you get the most awsome color you can get.Good luck!!PS. Never lie to your stylist about whats in your hair. What he or she dosent no can hurt you and your hair, then your stuck with the results.Happy healthy hair,Diane K.

> also, to add to this, if you put dye over sun-in, you can get horiffic results! My freind tried it, she had some hair fall out, and some turn bleach blonde! when she used a brown hair dye. It was terrable!
