Does anyone know how to deep condition your hair? I recently colored my hair and my hairdresser suggested that I deep condition it every 2 wks, problem is I don't know how. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Usually around 15 to 20 minutes. You apply the conditioner, put a plastic cap over it and sit under a dryer or heating cap for that length of time. If you don't have heat, leave it in maybe 10 minutes longer.,A really good conditioner is Paul Mitchell's Super Charged Conditioner.
There are many good deep conditioners available on the market. I can name a few.. Aveda's Curessence, Biolages Conditioning Balm, Aubrey's GPB, a tube of WElla Kolestral, any of the oils available.. jojoba etc. Wash your hair as usual.. towel dry a bit. Then glob on your chosen conditioner. Take a slightly damp towel and heat it up either in the dryer or microwave. Put it on your hair.. repeat as needed for up to 20 minutes. Or buy one of those heated caps at Sally's Beauty Supply.(they are well worth their money) Some deep conditioners do not need heat to activate so read the labels. I used to use Aveda's Curessence for hours at a time with no heat and it worked wonderfully. Since cutting my hair recently and switching to Aubrey products, all I use is the GPB now for 10 minutes twice a week and my hair is so wonderfully soft. Test around.. you will find your favorite.. good luck.. Cher~Does anyone know how to deep condition your hair?
